Hey you guys, what is up? Welcome back to the show. I'm so excited and grateful to have you here. I just recorded this amazing interview with one of my former coaches, um, Leah Daniels. She's gonna be on the show. Um, I believe later in November. I think this show is gonna be scheduled for. I think it's gonna be scheduled either for the the American Thanksgiving or just the day after the American Thanksgiving. I think the day that we're scheduled for. So um had this really amazing conversation about, you know, our her history and working in corporate and how her career transitioned and some of the some of the ways just life just had a different plan for her, you know, and sometimes life does that. Life will do that to us, life will have a different plan for us. Um, and that's kind of where I wanted to start the conversation today. And, you know, we've been talking a lot about purpose on the podcast in the last couple of weeks. Um, as we make this shift in the conversations that we're having here on the Femcast. And I hope you I hope you're enjoying the new content and let me know if it resonates for you. And I realize it probably won't resonate for everybody, but that's that's okay. And um, I was kind of getting in my head about that a little bit, but I know that this is what's on my heart to talk about, to share, to put out there into the world. So I have to just trust that it's it's gonna work out, you know? And that is actually that leads really well into today's conversation and the next conversation, the next two conversations that we're planning. Today I wanted to talk to you guys about purpose. When I get asked this question all the time, and I think especially now, as we're moving through this next leg in human evolution, this next leg of our journey in the human evolution, a lot of people are gonna start waking up to the fact that they are misaligned, to the fact that there is a greater calling on their heart, that there's a greater purpose for why they're here. And they're going to want to start to understand what that purpose is. And this is really important. We had one of these big awakenings happen in 2011, 2012. It's happening again. There's been a lot of like mini awakenings happen like that happened in between, but I think right now we are on the precipice. It's either like it's happening already. I think people are already waking up to it, but more and more people are gonna start waking up to this, this, this, this thing, this this moment that we're in, this evolutionary moment that we're in. And that is where we start to realize that you know there's a greater purpose for us being here. And once we start to under, once we start to become aware of it, it makes it very difficult for do to do what we've been what we've been doing up until this point, like shift or be shifted, right? It's kind of the universe's affirmation or mantra when it comes to these things. Like once you've awakened to the realization that you're meant, you're here for a higher purpose, a higher calling, you're here to to play a part in a much, much, much bigger play that's happening in the collective, um, it becomes it, it, it, it, it, it makes itself more and more and more obvious. It makes continuing with the status quo and whatever you've been doing up until this point, more and more and more uncomfortable until you have no choice but to surrender to what's trying to come through you. And so as we're standing in the midst of one of these beautiful, but not always easy seasons that we're in right now. And that's probably why I've been kind of called to take the podcast in a new direction. In a way, it's almost me coming into a different um purpose or line of work or way that I impact or influence the world, right? So if you can think of it as, you know, first off, when it comes to life purpose, it's not always work-related. Yes, your work can absolutely support your purpose a hundred percent, but purpose is not always work-related. Purpose can be, I think we all have, I think we all have, we share one collective purpose, which is to come into greater love and acceptance and understanding of higher consciousness. I think we all as evolutionary souls are here to kind of learn and embody that. But I think on an individual level, we've all been given certain gifts, talents, talents, experiences, um evolutions and transformations that we've taken on our own that in some way, shape, or form prepare us for who it is that we're meant to be in this life, and who it is that we're meant to be in this life is playing a small part in a much bigger, um, I don't know what you want to call it, bigger operation, bigger, bigger theme or or thing that's playing out, right, collectively. I think we all play a small part in something bigger and grander than ourselves, right? I guess the best way to put it. Something like we eat, yes, that's it. We each play a small part in something so much bigger than just ourselves. Whether that is healing our own trauma, healing our own conditioning, healing our own beliefs, and then maybe sharing that with others, or maybe it's the impact that we make in our family or the impact that we make in our community, or maybe we're healing generational timelines and cycles that our families have been repeating for years. Maybe we are clearing generational karma for our family and for our lineage, right? Maybe we are meant to do really big important work and we're meant to get out there into the world and actually make an impact with that work, whether it's through messaging, whether it's through creating art, whether it's through healing the collective, whether it's for through creating new, higher consciousness, um, aligned institutions, right? Like whatever it is, each of us is playing a smaller part in something that is so much bigger than ourselves. And I think that we can ex when we can accept that, it makes this whole process so much easier. Because the question that I keep getting, and sorry, I'm I'm I'm if you're watching, if you're seeing my reels and you're freaking out because my eyes are closed, it's because I'm channeling. So when I channel, I close my eyes. So just bear with me as this message comes through. Just take a deep breath and get connected to the message again. So I do apologize for that. But as we come into this awareness that we are meant to play a smaller role or a small part in a much in something that is so much bigger than ourselves, we it becomes easier to accept and move with where our heart is guiding us to go. Because this is something that we're always in resistance to. We are always in resistance to where our heart is guiding us. We question it, we don't trust it, we think it's silly, we think it's irrational, we think it's illogical, we think it's unsafe, we think it's not practical. The world has told us and taught us and ingrained in us what is practical, what is safe, what is logical, what is traditional, what it is that we're supposed to do in this life. And we are literally being asked to tune, just just to tune that out, tune all that noise out, and only pay pay no attention to what's happening behind the curtain. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, the one who's creating the illusions that they want you to see. Only pay attention to what your heart is telling you. What your heart is telling you is your North Star. It's your soul blueprint, it's what your soul came here to do, be, and create in this life. And the more that we can trust that, the more aligned we will be with our soul's purpose here in this life. Now, the your purpose is not something that is figured out. And I know, and I know because I get people asking me all the time, how do I figure out my purpose is? I really want to live a more purposeful life, and you know, everything just feels so monotonous and bad. And I just like you know, you get to this point where it's like life loses its joie de vie. Like, I don't know, it loses something, right? It there something gets lost. There's an essence, uh, a um a passion, uh, uh just this this this energy, this vibrancy, this potency that just dwindles, right? Um and everything just starts to feel very monotonous and blah, and you start to you start to want to rekindle that essence again. And oftentimes we're we're we're conditioned to kind of look to our environment to see where we can capture that, where we can find that again, where can I find the work environment that's gonna help me feel that way again, or the type of work that's gonna make me feel that way again, and it is all internal. So instead of trying to look to your outside world to give you that sense of fulfillment, that sense of passion, that sense of of you know doing something amazing that lights you up from the inside out in the world, that cannot be found out there, that can only be found in here. And your soul already knows what that is. So it's not really an uh it's not really a figuring out that needs to happen, it is a remembering. And in that remembering, because your soul has been programmed to do whatever your purpose is, it's been, you know, if you think of if you think of our time here in in these lifetimes here on earth as school, basically, each lifetime is like a new evolution, a new grade, right? And your soul's evolution for for for who it is intending to become in its greatest potential, each lifetime serves a purpose. Each lifetime will teach you something, each lifetime will help you evolve. And as you evolve as a spiritual being, every lifetime that you've that you've lived, everything that you've learned, everything that you've you've transmuted or healed through, that all comes with you. And so when you think of the purpose that way, it is so much bigger than just a job that you do. Like I just want you to understand and grasp the concept of a soul's purpose. It is so much bigger and means so much more to you and to the collective than just a job that you do. It is something that has been imprinted in your divine blueprint, and that you've been preparing for probably for more than one lifetime. And each lifetime it'll evolve and it'll go bigger and bolder and bigger and bolder. And as you start to uncover, and this is a very slow, gentle process, guys. It's as you start to uncover and unravel what the pieces of that purpose is and what it looks like, and start to lean into and trust, knowing that your heart would not lead you astray, that that somewhere in your heart, it already knows what you're meant to be doing in this life. And so every time it gives you a nudge to do something, you just kind of go with it and you trust it and you lean into it. And then each step is revealed to you one tiny step at a time. And so even in this life, your purpose can evolve as you move through the different stages of life, as you move through different experiences, as you move through different evolutionary moments in your soul's trajectory, right? So, um, you know, this kind of the the when we think of it in that context, number one, it is a much bigger impact again than just the work that we do. And also, it is so much more than just sitting down with a journal one day and just journaling who it is that you want to be and what do you want to become in the world and what are the next steps to getting there, which is great. It's a great exercise to do. But you have to take everything that you know, and you also have to remember that there's so much that you know that you don't remember that you know. Okay. So, how do we do this, right? How do we unravel these pieces that tap into the potential of who we are here to be and what we are here to do and create in this life when it is so much larger than ourselves and so complex and so nuanced? Well, there's a couple things. Um, you know, always look at, I always and I always say this with my clients like let it be an evolution over time. Always pay attention to what is alive for you right now. Where do you feel called to pay attention to, to make an impact, to say something, to create something. What out there is pulling at your heart string strings and saying, Yes, I want to get involved in this in some way, shape, or form. I don't know how. I don't know what it looks like, I don't know what role I'm supposed to play, but I know that this conversation, this topic, this theme, this whatever that's going on in the world today is something that I am wanting to get more involved in. That is speaking to a deeper part of me. And I, even though I can't understand it or I can't articulate it, I don't know why, I'm just gonna trust it. I'm gonna lean into it. So lean into the things that are alive for you right now in this moment. And pay attention to those because they are speaking to you, because that is exactly how this pivot with my podcast happened. There was a conversation happening out in the world that was talking about, you know, speaking specifically to women and supporting women and guiding women, and and if you ask me, misleading and demeaning, not demeaning, but keep just encouraging women to just stay small and second-guess themselves and put a lid on all the magic that they bring into this world. And I could not, in my good conscience, sit back and do nothing. And I wanted to do something, and I said, okay, well, what does that look like? So I started to lean into it and trust it, and lo and behold, we have this big evolution of the podcast, right? And that's how these things happen. They are a gentle unfolding, they are a leaning into what is speaking to you, what feels alive, what is inspiring you, where are the gaps that you see in the world, where are the like the information gaps or the the idea gaps? What are they? What would you do differently? What would you do if you had the microphone for five minutes? What would you say? You know, that might be what's the missing key or the missing link and all of it. Like just pay attention. Pay attention to this moment right here, right now, and what is wanting to be moved through you, what is wanting to be created through you, what is wanting to be spoken through you. Okay. Then also look at your life in its whole in its entirety. What did you love to do when you were a kid? Right? Leah mentioned this on the show. This is one of her favorite questions. Who were you when you were younger? What did you love to do? How did you love to spend your time? What was important to the little version of you that you might have turned your back on that was important to you, the the way that you love to spend your time, the things that mattered to you and that that you wanted to make a difference with, the dreams and the visions that you had for your life? What were they? Right. And have you let them fall by the wayside? And how can you bring some of those back online today? What were some of the experiences that you had, the healing, the transformation, the moments that that you know made you feel like, you know, you made you drop to your knee that you thought you were never, ever, ever going to survive, but you did. And what did those moments teach you? How did they help you to evolve? You know, when we can start to look at our life as this, instead of, you know, looking at it from the from the lens of, you know, and I hear this all the time. I hear this from from both sides. Like either, you know, you've had a really, really hard life filled with challenges, and you kind of, you know, that's kind of like the the that's that's the costume you put on every morning, or you've had a really easy life and you don't understand the people who have had a hard life, and you put on the easy life costume every morning. What if it's not about what was easy or hard? What if everything was very intentional? Start to look at your life, no matter how difficult or not it was, as very intentional for you to step into who you are meant to be in this life. And if you start to look at all of those events, good or bad, as something that was a stepping stone, a an event that was meant to shape you, to alter your state of your energy or your state of consciousness or your awareness to transmute something maybe into a higher frequency expression that maybe you know you weren't meant to bring with you, or maybe you needed to upgrade, or maybe you needed to to to transform in some way. Start to look at your life from this lens of you being a spiritual being, having a human experience, and everything that you experience in this life, no matter how hard it is, is in some way, shape, or form supporting that spiritual evolution that your soul has committed to, and start to look at it, even if it's painful, as an important part of your soul's evolution. And that, you know, I always and I say this a lot when it comes to emotion too. You know, when we can look at our life like that and what we're feeling like that, doesn't make anything anymore mean bad or good. Yes, it could be very difficult. Yes, it could be painful, and yes, you know what? Life happens, tragedy happens, and really unspeakable things happen in this world. And it's not to say it's not to say that those are positive things. That's not what we're talking about here. But what we are talking about is that if you can just for one second step out of your human experience right now and here in this life, if you can step out of that and look at it from a higher perspective, from a bird's eye view, from a spiritual evolutionary perspective, where your soul came here to experience something for a reason. And no matter how painful that was, if you can look at and you might not be able to see it right away, sometimes it takes, sometimes you can see it quickly, sometimes it takes years to be able to see something. It really depends on how close you are to it and how painful it is, and and how you move through processing whatever it is that that that you experience. But if you can view it as this was just something your soul came here to experience, and the only thing that you need to do is make sure that you extract the the information, the healing, the the inspiration, the the the um transmutation that you're meant to extract from this experience and let the rest kind of fall away. Take that part with you because that is an important part of who you're here to become. I did not, I did not start doing this work. Obviously, you guys know this. I didn't start doing this work because my life was easy. I didn't start doing this work because my relationships were easy. I started, or I didn't start, I definitely didn't start doing this work because I loved myself and I thought I deserved it. I started doing this work because I struggled with my self-worth. I struggled in feeling like I was enough. I struggled in relationship to find relationships where I felt worthy, where I felt loved, seen, and appreciated for who I was, relationships that felt safe. You know, for the longest time for me, relationships did not feel safe. Um and so, you know, I created this platform because I wanted women to know, A, that they weren't alone, and and B, like I wanted them to learn something from what I had moved through, what I was experiencing. I wanted to share that with a greater for for to as a as a greater purpose, as to give, to give pain a purpose to pain, right? Um, and help create, help take what I've learned, what I've been through, what I've experienced to help others make a quicker shift or a transformation and maybe even avoid having to go through that experience altogether, right? So, you know, what are those things that you've been through? Those are important. You don't go through things in this life at random. Everything is preparing you for something. So if you can look at your purpose and your life from that lens, if you can say this is my purpose, and so therefore A, B, and C had to happen for me in order to do this work, to do this purpose work, whatever it is, then everything starts to make sense. Because I can tell you right now, there was a time in my life where I hated what I had gone through. I hated having gone through all that heartbreak, all that, you know, having settled so horribly in so many relationships, but I still hold so much shame over sometimes. Um, you know, just just all of the the early the early childhood trauma, the the relationship trauma, the like just all the stuff, all the gunk that I had gone through. There was a time when I had so much resistance to it, I just wanted to wish it away because I didn't see it the point in any of it. Like I just wanted to live a normal life, like everybody else I thought was, right? And I didn't see what all that was there for. And now I can safely see that everything that I experienced in this life was leading to this moment, was was in some way, shape, or form leading me to the work that I meant to do here in this life. And it'll continue to do so until the day I die, and I believe that. And so now everything, no matter how difficult it was, no matter how painful it was, no matter how traumatizing it was, I know it served a powerful purpose. And I use that purpose in a way that creates impact in the lives of others. So sometimes, and I will say this, and I can say this without any doubt, sometimes it's the people who have been through the most painful things that who have been through some of the most um challenging traumas or painful experiences that are actually meant for a really big purpose, whatever that purpose might be. Maybe your purpose is to speak in front of other people, maybe your purpose is to heal others, to guide others, to be a teacher, a writer, a speaker. Maybe your purpose is to, maybe your purpose is to uh raise a family and you know, heal those generational traumas and make sure that they don't get passed on to the next generation. Maybe your purpose is to um, you know, transform corporate institutions from you know working on the inside of those institutions. Maybe, you know, there's so many ways that our purpose can look and can um can exist and can be can be birthed into the world, right? It doesn't have to be um, you know, entrepreneurship, although oftentimes it is, but it doesn't have to be, right? Um, it really all depends on you, who you are, the wisdom that you bring, the things that your soul has experienced, and everything that you've experienced in this lifetime, and everything that inspires you and delights you and makes you feel that full body yes, you know, when you're talking about, you know, obviously not the pain and the trauma, but the pot the outcomes of the work that you do. Like nothing gives me more of a full body yes than being able to take a stand for and share that I do believe that women are meant to do great things in this world. And I do believe that as we all step into our power and purpose, we do our part, our small part, to creating a better world for everybody else. And I believe that with my whole heart. And I also believe that we need more, way more women in leadership roles so that we can shape this next new phase of our reality as a collective, right? I believe that we are, you know, we are meant to be moving to more towards an egalitarian type of society. Um, you know, there's evidence of having had matriarchal, matriarchal societies in the past, although most of the texts have been destroyed, so we don't have a lot of detail, at least not that I know of. We can ask the historians. I'm not a historian. Um we we know that we're living in a very patriarchal society now, which we can see is not working, right? So maybe that, and and nature always does that. Nature always goes from one extreme to the other, from one side to the other, from masculine to feminine, from dark to light, back and forth until it balances somewhere in the middle. And maybe that's what this next phase of our evolution is, right? Is just balance out in the middle to create this egalitarian society. And in order to do that, we need more women leaders. We meet, we need more people, more women stepping into their purpose and men and being feminine-led instead of always being masculine-led, you know? Um, and so I believe that when we do that, we will absolutely create a world, uh, create a better world for everybody. And so for me, doing this work, even if it's a small contribution to that collective direction that we're moving in, that thrills and delights me because there is nothing that I want to create more in this life. I just hope I get to actually see the fruits of my labor and it happens while I'm still alive. Because I don't know, I'm looking at I'm looking at the world around. I'm like, this could take a while. This might not happen next week. We have a lot of work to do. Um, but like you can, you know what I'm talking about, right? So, yes, that moves me, that stirs something deep within my soul that feels like a full-body fucking yes. And so I'm excited for that. And I also know that everything that I've been through in this life and all the relationship experiences I had and the upgrowing, the the up the my upbringing and and and my work experiences and school, friendships, relationships, everything, all of it supports that. And if you listen to my episode, um I don't know if it's a few weeks back, maybe a couple months back actually, when I shared my my when I did my past life regression work, what I've learned is my past life has been. Um, all my past lives prepared me for this. So this for me is a huge part of my soul's evolution. So yes, I'm totally freaking here for it. Um, but again, it is a gentle unfolding over time. It is not something that you figure out tomorrow or next week. Even me, for the longest time, my relations my purpose was helping women heal their toxic relationship patterns. And now that's stepped into the next phase of that evolution where it's like, okay, once you've healed your relationship patterns, what are you gonna do with all that energy that you're no longer using to contribute to these toxic relationship patterns? Well, you're gonna step into your power and you're gonna do amazing shit with it. And that's what all my clients have done. All my clients have moved on, have he what that have moved on and healed their toxic relationship stuff that they had going on, ended up taking that energy, pouring it back into themselves and creating amazing things in this world, whether it was businesses, whether it was moving up in their careers, um, you know, whatever it was. So that is, I think, where we're at here today. I think, you know, and uh at least if you follow this podcast, you know, if you've struggled with trying to find that purpose and that meaning in your life, you know, you've been you've been kind of, you know, trying to not you've been you've you've moved through, you've navigated a lot of these relationship dynamics, you've done a lot of the healing work, um, you freed yourself from some of these toxic cycles, these unhealthy cycles that you were caught up in for the longest time. And now you've come back to yourself, right? So now you've come back to yourself, you've chosen yourself, you're about now you're you're you're back, uh, you know, you center, you're you're you're self-led, self-focused. Now what do you do with all that energy? Well, you create something fucking amazing with it. You go, you go within and you you ask yourself, what would I want to create in this world? If anything was possible, what would I create? If I didn't have to worry about money or resources or being supported, if I didn't think I could feel, what the fuck would I create? What do I see that is missing in the world? That is driving me bonkers, and I want to maybe take participate in creating it? You know, what has what has has everything I've ever done in my life taught me about myself and the kind of woman I want to be and the things that light me up and that I'm passionate about? What even, and and this is another thing that came up in my conversation with Leah, what even in your career, in your in your work history, might have that prepared you for? Because I can tell. You right now, and Leah said the same thing. Neither one of us had a linear career journey. We jumped from one thing to the other. Like I was a fashion major who then, you know, worked in retail for the longest time and then went into finance from there. Um, or actually, that wasn't exactly no, what we went. Well, let's recap one second. Hold on a second. I'm I'm my brain farting here. So we went from fashion school, we went to retail. Then I got my first office job after that, and I went into admin work. And then I oh, then I went into leadership development, and that's when I was running the leadership of executive coaching program for one of the top consulting firms. Um, and running the running their coaching program, their their leadership events are um what's it called? Um, development strategy, like helping with that, and then um left corporate. Then there was the bumming around Southeast Asia and a sarong and flip-flops episode that we had just had not too long ago. Um, then started my own business, but continued to work on like continued to work and starting the business on the side, ended up working in finance, leadership, and strategy. All of it, all of it, all together, has been everything that I needed in order to make this business successful. From the retail experience to the design experience to the administrative experience to the leadership development, the executive coaching program that I worked with, the finance, the strategy, the automation, the expansion, like all of that has helped and has played a big part in me being able to do the work that I'm doing today. And so look at where your life has taken you. Look at some of the things that you've lived through. What have you experienced? What were those hard moments? What did they teach you? What has your career history been? And what has that taught you and empowered you to do? What are the things that you love doing? What are the things that light you up? What are the things, the conversations that you see happening around you that you feel like you want to say something, but you hold yourself back? Maybe it's time to get into the conversation, or maybe it's time to get involved in some of those movements, maybe it's time to learn more, to expose yourself more to those, those, um, those conversations, those topics, those themes, whatever it is for you, and let it unfold. Let it unfold. Stop trying to control it, stop trying to figure it all out. You're not going to figure out your purpose in here. It's not something to be figured out, it's something to be slowly remembered. And you'll remember it one little piece at a time. And as you move through, so as you take each step, you'll get the guidance. You'll say, step here, you'll take the step there. You take the step, once you take the step, you'll next step will be revealed, and so on and so on and so on. And it'll unfold itself very naturally and very organically. And when it is time for you to shift, you will know. Because just like we did with this podcast, you'll know exactly when it's time to shift. Um the message will, again, you'll know exactly when you know what the thing is. Again, a gentle unfolding, it's not something that can be forced, even though I failed to take my own advice this time and kept getting into my head trying to figure out what, well, what? This isn't resonating anymore. What am I supposed to be doing? I don't know. Like it just doesn't feel right, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I would think and think and think and think and think. And then I finally said, okay, you know what? You're being your own worst fucking client right now. Stop it. Go do something else. Go, I don't know, go take care of your mom and dad. Go write a write a poem or something, or, you know, just go start speaking into the microphone and see what naturally wants to come through you. Okay, fine, go binge scroll some more. And then I started to look at the things that were triggering me online, and I was like, oh. And this is where the rage healing became very important for me because it actually showed me, it actually showed me exactly what I was what I was wanting to do. Because as I was zoom scrolling and getting triggered by the content that I was seeing that was targeted and marketed towards women, and I was like, that is just fucking, no, I am not standing for that. Absolutely fucking not. How can I block this person? How can I like mute their account? And then I'm like, and then something in my voice is like, hold on a second. If you have something to say, why aren't you saying it? And so I started saying it. And I started saying the thing that the thing that was uncomfortable saying. And I started saying the thing that I was holding back from saying because I thought people would be angry or upset or it was too polarizing, and people, you know, people wouldn't like it, and I would lose followers or whatever. I just fucking said the damn thing. And I started saying it, and I started saying it more and more. And so the next iteration of the Femcast revealed itself to me through that process. So let whatever wants to be birthed through you happen in its own divine timing. All you need to do is make space for it. You need to make space for it, and you need to come at it from a place of curiosity, of looking at your life as though it were a puzzle to that was leading you to something. Okay. And stop trying to figure it out and find the nice little one one sentence line that's gonna that's gonna encapsulate everything that you're what you're here to do. Your soul is so much bigger than that. And let it be. You know, do what feels right for right now and let it evolve. And know that it will evolve over time. It's never gonna stay exactly the same. If we're if it stays exactly the same, then we're not we're not growing, right? And and and no, I can tell you right now, no soul actually wants that. Your soul actually wants to grow, it wants to evolve. That's why it's here. So, um, so let me know how that speaks to you in the comments below. This was completely channeled.
